Do I need a regular desktop site to use this service?

- No. If you don’t have an existing website, we can build you a new mobile site from scratch.

What happens after I sign up?

- One of our certified design professional will contact you at a number you provide for an initial consultation about your mobile website.

How many design changes do I get?

- Your mobile website design is based on your existing website design. If you are happy with your website design you will be more than happy with the mobile website design (See examples here!). To ensure you get what you want we will provide up to two design changes if necessary.

† Does the design fee include graphic design work?

We will design your website from scratch which includes using your existing website images.  If your current header will not work for a mobile website we will recreate it to fit within the parameters of a mobile view screen. If you do not have graphics, we offer a limited gallery of stock images for use on your mobile site.

Does my site include all the premium features of a premium site?

All the premium features that The Mobile Marketing Guy offer will be available for you to use. These include the click-to-call, SMS business info, click-to-map, as well as analytics.

Are there any sites that can’t be converted into a mobile website?

e-commerce and membership sites entail a considerable amount of setup and conversion compared to a traditional website. Please contact our office to discuss these types of websites with us.  Some search functionality may be limited for those websites that deploy a search our site functionality.  Additionally, If you have a flash based site there may also be some limitations due to the inability for flash to render properly across all mobile devices.

How long will it take for my mobile site to be designed and go live?

On average, your mobile website will be live within 1-2 weeks, depending on the amount of design work required.

Do I need to purchase a new domain name for my mobile website?

No, your mobile website will be installed on a subdomain of your existing website, e.g. “m.yourwebsite.com.” If your current website is currently hosted through services such as Yellow Pages, Vistaprint, Yahoo Site Builder, etc., we will help you establish a .mobi domain and redirect your website traffic there (We will host this site for you for a nominal fee).

What happens after one year? Do I need to pay the upfront fee again?

No, the upfront fee includes the design of your site and one year of analytics.  After the year is up, you will not be charged the setup fee again.  Those sites we need to provide hosting for will be charged a monthly fee of $20.

Who do I contact if my mobile site isn’t functioning properly?
